For the academical Journal, we welcome original contributions written in an accessible style. All the articles must be written in English. However, we receive contributions written in Romanian which, if publishable, will be included in the Journal up to 25 percent of the published articles. The texts should be approximately 3,000 - 6,000 words in length (including references) and must be edited according to Chicago Style. Please include an abstract and a list of keywords. The contributions will be subjected to a double-blind peer-evaluation by specialists in the area of each article’s theme. Together with the manuscript, the editors are looking to receive a second document containing the author’s biographical information and current affiliation, e-mail address and telephone number.
In addition to the Journal, we publish on a daily basis opinion analysis on current controversial issues in the public sphere. However, the opinion analysis pieces must be based on data and coherent reasoning. JDES cherishes the respect for its readers and rejects manipulation and biased approach. The editorial team does not reject articles that positively evaluate public policies, draft laws or government measures if they prove their efficiency throughout data. Instead, we will reject articles that negatively assess public policy just because they come from a certain political party or a specific politician. At JDES we discuss beyond political sympathies and doctrinaire affiliations.
