Our Journal publishes articles in the domains of democracy studies using conceptual frameworks, dimensions, contexts and different methods of research specific to political science, media and communication science, political philosophy and related disciplines.
We welcome original contributions written in an accessible style. All the articles must be written in English. However, we receive contributions written in Romanian which, if publishable, will be included in the Journal up to 25 percent of the published articles. The texts should be approximately 3,000-6,000 words in length (including references) and must be edited according to Chicago Style. Please include an abstract and a list of keywords.
The contributions will be subjected to a double-blind peer-evaluation by specialists in the area of each article’s theme.
Together with the manuscript, the editors are looking to receive a second document containing the author’s biographical information and current affiliation, e-mail address and telephone number.
In addition, JDES gives the authors the opportunity to present their research and to debate on the published articles at the launching of each Issue (due to July and December) aside renowned experts from their field, academics and other interested parties, so to establish valuable contacts for their future research.
